Nritya therapy works with individuals or groups in treatment of developmental, medical, social, physical or psychological impairments.
Nritya Therapy is a psycho-therapeutic use of bharatanatyam movements to further the emotional, cognitive, functional, physical and social integration of the individual. Nritya therapy has been developed over 4 decades treating patients who are blind, orthopaedic difficulties like equinus deformity & arthritis patients, autistic, special children with facial and limb movement difficulties, Parkinson’s affected, etc.
Course is open for medical practitioners, social workers, dancers, psychologists, alternate therapy practitioners, teachers & graduate/final year students who can use this therapy in their field of work.
Course starts on 16th September 2017. Course will be conducted only on Saturday & Sunday. 10 weekends including lectures and practicals.
